"You'll Never Ever Get a Chicken in Your Whole Entire Life" is the seventh episode in the seventh season of the US version of Shameless. It aired on November 13, 2016 on Showtime.

Synopsis[]

Fiona learns that owning a laundromat is costlier than she anticipated. Frank gets Liam enrolled into a fancy private school after his old school is shut down. Debbie and Neil grow closer.

Plot[]

While expecting the DCFS, Debbie creates a list of things to do for the day including quitting high school but takes her GED examination; later in the night, she and Neil engage in a rendezvous. Lip has an eventful night with Sierra including helping her find her child Lucas after a negligent action from the father; he also receives news from Professor Youens who tells him that the local university granted his request to appeal his case over with what happened with Helene. Fiona has second thoughts over the investment in the local laundromat but is determined to not fail.

Liam has difficulty in starting first grade after the local public school closes due to enrollment; he chases after Lip's new dog and finds his father who is attempting to set fire his new homeless shelter as his adoptive family run out in fear of his actions. Liam then asks Frank for help who takes him to school only to find it closed for the day and the two find Frank's old private school but are told to leave.

When dropping him off the next day, Frank sees Liam get bullied in public school and is angry at the sight and harasses the private school long enough to give his son a chance. He ends up meeting the principal of the school who calls in for a meeting. The principal offers to let Liam into the private school after Frank impresses her school in a meeting. Frank tells her that he can't afford to enroll his son but she states that it will come with a paid tuition, to Frank's joy.

Kev and V are shocked to see Svetlana in blood splattered clothes after showing up in the Alibi randomly and proclaims that Yvon is officially gone from their lives; Kev and V are left disturbed by her statement. Ian and Trevor finally decide to take their relationship to a new level.

The next day, Frank arrives at his house to find Liam in his new school uniform and admits his joy at the sight. As thanks for his help, Liam calls Frank a good father and hugs him as he goes off with a proud Frank watching him.
