Sally Carman is an actress, known for playing Kelly Maguire in the UK version of Shameless, which she played in a recurring stint from 2005, before becoming a more prominent character in the 2008 season, finally a main cast member from 2009 to 2013.
Sally made her major television debut in 2000 when she starred as Bridged Salsabill in British drama Bomber, though she had previously featured briefly in an episode of City Central. As an actress, she has starred in Doctors, Heartbeat and Holby City. She also played the character of Betty Haigh, the wife of John Geroge Haigh, in the television film A is for Acid.
Most recently, she played the character of Marie in the film Tyrannosaur written and directed by Paddy Considine.
On Monday January 28, 2013, Sally appeared on Moving On season 4 as Sarah, one of the main characters. She worked with writer, Karen Brown and director, Noreen Kershaw.
She is currently appearing in the BBC 1 drama Prisoner's Wives, as Kim Haines, the wife of a man falsely accused of child abuse.
