Patreesha St Rose is the mother of Mary Mae and the older sister of Avril Powell, whom she has allowed to move into her home, along with her neice Letitia.
Patreesha often displays an overbearing and patronising attitude toward Avril, viewing her as an underachiever. Patreesha is still legally married, though long separated from her husband, Warren, who is gay, which may have been the larger reason for the rift in their marriage. Warren also owns runs a chain of garages, in which Patreesha is still the part-owner.
Patreesha once mentions that she tricked her sister Avril into thinking she was stoned on her thirteenth birthday.
