Luke James Tittensor was born on November 3, 1989, in Heywood, Greater Manchester. He is an actor best known for playing Daz Eden in the ITV soap Emmerdale.
In the first season of Channel 4 series Shameless, Luke shared the role of Carl Gallagher with his twin brother, Elliott. He left the show to take the part of Daz Eden in Emmerdale, first appearing in the role on October 3, 2003. Elliott continued playing Carl. Also in early 2003, Luke and Elliott had a brief appearance in Brookside as Terry Gibson's twin sons.
Luke appeared in Waterloo Road on September 8, 2010 as gay student Connor appearing in season six.
He also appeared in an episode of Casualty in January 2011, and played the part of Nathan in episode one of the BBC drama series The Body Farm in September 2011.
In 2012, Luke played the character Liam in Holby City.
Luke Tittensor is the identical twin brother of Elliott. He is from Heywood, Greater Manchester, and attended Heywood Community High School.
On March 23, 2009, Luke pleaded guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm against an unarmed 16 year old in Rochdale on February 15, 2008, that left the victim with a fractured jaw. His Emmerdale contract was terminated in April 2009 due to his conviction, with his last appearance in the show occurring the same month. On April 29, 2009, Luke received a 9-month suspended jail sentence for the assault. He was also ordered to complete 200 hours unpaid work and pay £1000 compensation to the victim.
